Our newsletter templates have been tested to work with nearly all email clients including Outlook, Thunderbird, Hotmail, Gmail, and Yahoo. You can also create and save your own newsletter templates.

Once you have your template, adding content is simple. You can even add content to your newsletter or personalize the subject line of your email based on your subscribers’ specific information. With Newsletter Magic, you can collect whatever subscriber information you wish by simply adding an information field to your newsletter subscription form. Moving or re-ordering this information is easy with our click and drag feature.

In order to catch typos or other errors before you send your newsletter to your subscribers, it’s often important to have someone else proofread your newsletter. Newsletter Magic makes it easy to proofread your newsletter to make certain your newsletter looks exactly how you want it to look. Before clicking “Save and Exit”, send a preview of your newsletter to yourself and/or someone else by simply clicking “Send Preview”. You can preview your newsletter exactly as it will appear in nearly all email clients.

In addition to these features, Newsletter Magic will also do the following:

  • Warn you before you save your document if you have forgotten to include an unsubscribe link;
  • help you target your newsletter to your specific mailing list;
  • enable you to send to multiple lists at once without sending duplicates if your subscriber is on more than one list;
  • insert a specific piece of information you have collected from your subscribers into your newsletter;
  • allow you to easily add attachments to your newsletter by simply completing the attachment section on your subscriber form; and
  • provide free marketing and newsletter tips.

Marketing tip: Improve your customer service and keep current subscribers active by searching for, exporting and sending a message to people who have NOT clicked a specific link or opened a particular email.

Wallpapers are the backgrounds for your computer screen. They are easily available on the Internet. Instead of keeping a plain background on the computer screen, one can download many types of free wallpaper.

Using free wallpaper is very easy. All that has to be done is to choose the free wallpaper you intend to use on your computer. Then you have to click on the link that applies to your screen resolution. Upon doing this, a new window appears on the screen. The wallpaper you had chosen appears in this window. Then you have to right click on the free wallpaper, and select ’set as wallpaper’. However, the downloading of the free wallpaper will take awhile, especially if you are on a low-speed connection.

There are many sites offering free wallpaper. Sometimes the wallpapers may be divided into different categories on the site. They may be site-exclusive wallpapers, which are made by the staff of the site, fan-submitted wallpapers, which are wallpapers submitted by fans of the website, and theme-based wallpapers. These are wallpapers that follow a particular theme in their pictures.

Some of the themed wallpapers that available are the free hunting wallpapers featuring duck hunting, elk hunting and more. Then there is the free Yellowstone National Park wallpaper, which of course has wallpapers featuring scenes, landscapes and wildlife found in Yellowstone National Park. And for the automobile enthusiasts, there are free truck and ATV wallpapers featuring trucks, jeeps, motorcycles and other off road vehicles.

There are also some websites that offer free wallpapers for webmasters to offer to their web visitors. All that has to be done is for the webmaster to cut and paste the button below the wallpaper into the webmaster’s web page. This acts as an added attraction to the visitors of that website.

Free Wallpaper provides detailed information on Free Wallpaper, Free Desktop Wallpaper, Free 3D Wallpaper, Download Free Wallpaper and more. Free Wallpaper is affiliated with Free Animated Screensavers.

Microsoft Great Plains Implementation in Russia - Overview for Consultant

Filed under: Geek Stuff Center — admin at 5:08 am on Saturday, March 22, 2008

Microsoft Business Solutions Great Plains is very popular ERP platform in the USA, Canada (including French speaking Quebec/Montreal), U.K., Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Middle East: OAE, Egypt, Arabia, Latin America. Former versions - Great Plains Dynamics/eEnterprise was also popular in Europe: France, Poland, Russia. When Microsoft acquired Navision Software - and handed it out to its subdivision: Microsoft Business Solutions - we saw some geo-strategy changes. Navision, the leader on the European mid-market and successfully overcoming such localization barriers as language translation, adaptation to country-specific taxes and payroll taxes - was chosen as preferred or the only recommended solution for emerging markets. In Russia we saw dramatic situation, when multiple Great Plains Dynamics/eEnterprise resellers went out of business. At the same time, Russia is huge and lucrative market for ERP/MRP applications and we envision large number of multi-national companies, having GP as their Headquarters chosen solution and who needs Great Plains to be implemented for Russian subsidiary. Here are the implementation highlights for you:

• Localization: Microsoft Great Plains is Great Plains Software Dexterity written application. Dexterity has string resources and in order to localize DYNAMICS.DIC - you need to translate all or just some strings. Great Plains version 5.0 had Russian language support and translations. Version 8.0 doesn’t have that - but it is very easy to translate the string resources for several windows, where Russian operators and order takers be working

• Chart Of Accounts concern. In Russia we see government regulated chart of accounts and the accounting code for the accounting records keeping. It is in somewhat similar to France or former Germany. From the philosophy of the accounting this means that regulated chart of accounts should fit to variety of business and non-for-profits - manufacturing, assemblies, wholesale, distribution, retail, services, mining, oil & gas, etc. This ends up with manufacturing-style of official instructions

• Government Audit. In the conditions of Russia you should consider these things and be sure that each ERP vendor is trying to certify their application with the government. Microsoft did it for Microsoft Navision and Axapta (for corporate market)
