Then the former acne patient said “thank God for Facial Massaging”

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin at 5:26 pm on Tuesday, September 2, 2008

With the marketers of various acne products out there to make a buck at the expense of nave acne patients, one step that very well could help clear the skin and delay the aging process is right there literally at your finger tips.

It’s called facial massaging and for me, a former acne patient, it works.

Now friends, I suffered from acne.

Actually the statement above will be an understatement. It devastated and almost annihilated me. What didn’t I try: Proactiv, Neutrogena, Clearasil, Dermatologists? You name it, this writer tried it. Well, not everything, cause I couldn’t afford plastic surgery, not on a $11 per hour salary, but I was saving up for it though…honestly, the phone number is still highlighted in the phone book.

During my years with dealing with acne, especially toward the end as an adult, I simply had to find something, anything to get this problem off or else…

Well, thank God I stumbled on Facial Massaging and combined with a proper diet and other common-sense tips, within 72 hours or less, there was a permanent and drastic improvement in my skin condition.

I humbly share the facial massaging steps with you so if you suffer from acne, you could look into them as part of a drug-free, yet simple BUT extremely effective means of treating your acne.

Facial Massaging Steps:

1. Wash your hands, especially your fingertips, thoroughly.
2. Now with your thumbs firmly gripping your jaw-line, proceed to pressing with the free four fingers the upper jaw line working from the center outwards.
Do 2-3 sets pressing firmly.
3. Now press the areas directly above the jaw line in the same center-going- outwards-direction firmly 2-3 times.
4. Do this working upwards till you reach the forehead line. If done correctly you should see little specks of dead skin on your face.
5. In a feathery motion, pinch at the entire face for as long as you desire (1-2 minutes) using all the free fingers in firm actions grasping the skin.
6. Now, in a downward-scraping motion using the finger tips, rub the jugular veins located at the sides of the neck (6-8) times, and then massage the outer part of the chest right next to the armpits in a firm circular motion ensuring you breathe deeply as well. According to the Egyptians (and from my own experiences) this simple procedure has a marked effect on alleviating bags and crow’s feet from the eyes and directing the flow of toxins away from the face.
7. Wash your hands with soap and rinse the face with cool water only-gently but firmly.
8. Wipe your face dry with a paper towel (or a towel you use only for your face and nothing else. Keep this towel in an exclusive location and wash it every other day).

Now, for an external acne treatment regimen, this procedure is quite effective. Combined with such internal acne treatment procedures based on a proper diet of your Juicy fruits, some roots and leafy vegetables and if desired (although highly recommended) occasional juice fasts or exclusive mono-meals of seasonal fruits, facial massaging will be very useful as a means of controlling acne (and delaying facial aging as apparent in crows feet and wrinkles) from the outside.

I must add, when performed correctly, it does enhance facial tone and structure not unlike costly plastic surgery. So, put your fingers to work and lovingly massage and sculpt your face with facial massaging while all the while becoming acne free starting today.

Here’s to a clearer skin naturally.

Acne Rosacea

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin at 5:20 am on Monday, September 1, 2008

Acne rosacea is a chronic disease that affects mainly the facial skin, characterized by flare-ups and remissions.

It varies from typical acne in that it generally begins affecting individuals over the age of thirty on cheeks, nose, chin or forehead, but sometimes can occur on the chest, neck, scalp or ears too. If untreated, pimples often develop and in most severe cases the nose grows swollen and bumpy due to excess tissue. In many cases, and unlike any other form of acne, acne rosacea also affects the eyes, which feel irritated and look watery and bloodshot. As you can imagine, for sufferers, this can be very painful and embarassing.

Even though anyone can suffer from it, people with fair skin who flush or blush easily are more prone to develop Rosacea. It is more common in women than men, but men tend to develop more severe forms. There is no known cure for acne rosacea, but medical therapy helps keeping it under control and in most cases reversing the symptoms. If you suspect you have rosacea, you should consult your local dermatologist for diagnosis and treatment as soon as possible.

What Are The Main Symptoms of Acne Rosacea?

The main symptoms of Acne Rosacea vary widely from one individual to another and generally only some of the potential signs appear. Experts claim that it always includes one of the following primary symptoms:

* Flushing

* Persistent Redness of the face

* Bumps and Pimples

* Visible Blood Vessels

Acne Rosacea Treatment

As signs and symptoms vary widely from one sufferer to another, acne rosacea treatment should be tailored by a dermatologist for each particular case. Dermatologists can prescribe various oral and topical treatments to cure pimples and redness associated with the disease.

Generally, the initial treatment consists of *oral antibiotics* combined with *topical treatment* to bring the condition under control, followed by long-term topical treatment to maintain it. Depending on your skin type and the frequency of treatment this process can work to significantly reduce the effects of Acne Rosacea.

In some cases, laser or
intense pulsed light therapy are used for acne rosacea treatment, in order to reduce redness, remove visible blood vessels and correct nose disfigurement. This is the type of laser procedure on makeover shows and while they don’t offer a complete cure for the condition, can visibly reduce symptoms and work to make the condition manageable. Ocular rosacea however is usually best treated with antibiotics.

Skin Care

Individuals who suffer from acne rosacea should consult their dermatologist to make sure the skin care treatment they are using is suitable for their condition. Patients are usually advised to use *mild and non-abrasive cleaners* to wash their face, rinse it with warm water and blot it dry using a soft cotton towel. They should only use non-irritating products and use a *sunscreen* with an SPF of minimum 15 to protect their skin from sunlight.

If you have acne rosacea, you may use cosmetics to conceal the effects. *Green tinted*, followed by a skin-tone foundation in natural yellow tones can be used to conceal redness. Makeup with ping or orange hues should be avoided.

Lifestyle

A healthy lifestyle is also part of the whole acne rosacea treatment and it can help you maintain remission and avoid the external factors that cause flare ups or aggravate your skin condition. Here are some of the things you should do:

* *Avoid hot drinks*, lots of *coffee, spicy foods* and *alcohol*. Although most people think acne rosacea is linked to alcoholism, it can also affect someone who doesn’t drink at all.

* Practice a good *sun protection* and avoid extremely high or low temperatures.

* *Avoid aggressive behavior* against your face, such as rubbing or scrubbing, as it can irritate the reddened skin.

* Work out only in cool environments and *do not overheat*.

* *Avoid cosmetics* and *skin-care products* that *irritate* your skin and use hair sprays properly.

* Try keeping a *diary* of all flushing episodes and write down what foods, products, medications ore activities are they associated with.

Acne: What It Is and What To Do About It

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin at 9:29 pm on Friday, August 29, 2008

When your skin pores start to be clogged up with greasy, oily stuff, causing inflammation to occur, a skin condition known as acne results. If left untreated, acne could produce permanent scarring on one’s face, neck, or back. Acne is different from the common pimple that appears on the face, because acne will be inflamed and might turn out to be an infection. Acne can appear as whiteheads (closed pimples) or blackheads (open pimples), which then cause the distinguishing inflammation and possible infection.

When children begin to turn into adults, their levels of hormones causes changes in skin gland size, which causes more oil to be produced by the glands, thus often resulting in acne. The majority of acne is minor and vanishes at the end of teen years, but inflamed, infected acne can result in serious scarring.

Contrary to popular belief, there is no known study that shows particular foods, such as chocolate, cause acne. Proper diet and exercise will result in healthier skin, but will not necessarily prevent acne from appearing.

Mild forms of acne can be controlled by washing with a soft mild soap several times a day, and by refraining from picking at pimples while they are healing. There are several acne medications on the market that can control acne, but cosmetics and oil-filled lotions should be avoided when treating it.

The more serious forms of acne may necessitate the assistance of a physician to avoid spreading and scarring. Antibiotics are often prescribed in such cases. Further, teens who have acne sometimes feel embarrassed and might skip school or stay away from social contacts because of how they look. In cases like that, it might become necessary to seek counseling as well as medical assistance from a physician.

Everything on the Internet is Content!

Filed under: World Of Travel — admin at 12:17 pm on Wednesday, August 27, 2008

Before you start to think that this is another SEO technique that may or may not work depending on the current algorithms of the search engines, think about it…

EVERYTHING on the internet is CONTENT.

The internet is a veritable treasure trove of information. Good, bad, valuable or not, the internet is all about providing information to people. That is why smart internet marketers know that people want information from their websites - not just SEO enriched pages of advertising.

The loopholes that search engine optimizers have been trying to use for high ranking in the search engine has created a plethora of sites that boast high keyword ratios, thousands of irrelevant hyperlinks and sometimes even redirection. These redirected websites try to create an optimized web page that the search engines will rank high but actually redirect the viewer to a less search engine friendly site.

Well, the search engines caught on. The websites that were getting the highest placements weren’t always providing quality information or useful content. In fact, they not only lowered the ranking of these sites - they even removed them from the listings completely.

This sent a shock wave through the internet community and smart marketers realized that there is only one sure way to convince the search engines that they were meant to be at the top: Quality Content.

Not only do the search engines love content, but visitors do too. By providing visitors with useful information and relevant links to other sites, they come back again and again! And that’s not the only benefit.

Because website owners are now hungry for content, there is a huge market for informative articles that other website owners can use on their sites. By offering information to these sites in exchange for a hyperlink to your website, you get even more exposure, both to search engines AND customers.

Writing content for the major article directories and including a signature or “about the author” at the end of the article with a link back to your website is one of the best ways of generating free website traffic. If the article is well written and about a strong niche topic, the article will get picked up by many websites for their own sites, which can provide you with a wonderful set of viral links to your site. The more frequently your article gets picked up, the more opportunity there is for another webmaster to see it and pick it up, too.

Your Trans National Estate Marketplace — Assisted by Property Index

Filed under: World Of Travel — admin at 10:04 am on Saturday, August 23, 2008

There are a range of properties in Italy for sale on Property Index, from villas to apartments.

In spite of the fact that Property Index is still a fledgling house, doing business only since March 2007, they were very swift to gain in reputation. Actually, they are a quite unceremonious house dedicated to guiding any person who is dedicated to let, sell, rent or buy real estate across the world. What they assure you of is to help you unearth just what’s desired very quickly and, as well, without hassle. Property is at your fingertips wherever you want in our times, arguably the elite area being property for sale in Italy. It’s no big challenge to tick off the fabulous real estate available for sale in Italy, the reason for looking for properties here is the houses and apartments on the market and the mega cool chance of being able to live with this robust people.

This is one of the truly trendy regions of the world in our times, and with the scenic beauty and climate surrounding you, how could you conceivably say no! Property in Italy is rich in history, this realm of the world is and has always been home to a good number of nations. Just 30 years ago you would find very few of British people looking for real estate in Italy. Just ask any one single person who has chosen to move to Italy and they will confirm it. Plenty of people would view it as a fairly insignificant vogue and others view it as a almost an addiction… People set on moving to this region may extend from young urban couples keen on a perspective to seniors who intend to settle down and enjoy themselves.

Do bear in mind, though, that there may well be unmanageables when buying real estate abroad: expectably there are 100s of different procedures whether strategizing, calling in or completing. Even if only a single step is missed it is certain to generate insurmountable unmanageables and, even more important, money loss. Obviously and expectably with this popular region, real estate could be high-priced in this location which is, of course, simply because of the growing buyer demand. Despite this the customer is really spoilt in a region so determined by shiny surroundings. It can boast almost everything you could hanker after and lots more.

HOW TO HUNT FOR MARKETS–OVER THE HOLIDAYS

Filed under: World Of Travel — admin at 2:27 am on Thursday, August 21, 2008

Chances are, you’ll be busy over the next several weeks. Between preparing for, celebrating, and unwinding from the holidays it may be difficult to maintain your regular writing routine. And if researching potential homes for your work is part of that routineas it is for many of us who regularly submit stories, essays, poems, articles, and reviews for publicationyou may be worried about falling behind.

But it’s time to put those worries to rest. In truth, there are many ways to keep up with your market-hunting over the holidays. Here are just four possibilities:

1) When you visit friends and family, peruse the magazines they may have on their coffee tables or stacked in their recycling bins. They may subscribe to some that you don’t receive. Who knows how many new markets you may discover? (Just be sure to ask for permission before you start rummaging!)

2) Be bold with your gift list. If someone close to you should ask what you might like for the holidays, go ahead and say it. Go ahead and tell that person: “I’d like you to bring me/send me all the magazines you’ve received for the past six monthsand haven’t yet thrown out.” That person won’t need to shop, and you will be able to spend the rest of the winter researching markets.

3) If you’ll be traveling, take advantage of any complimentary publications that may come your way: inflight magazines, morning newspapers at hotels, and so on. Again, these may provide you sample issues for markets that you haven’t considered before.

4) If you’re visiting anyone out-of-town, stop by the local library, and check out the magazines the library keeps stocked. It’s quite likely that you’ll discover someespecially regional publicationsthat you won’t be able to research as easily back home.

Can you think of other possibilities? Add them to the list! Happy holidays, and happy market-hunting.

Tips For Training Your Cat

Filed under: World Of Travel — admin at 5:12 am on Sunday, August 17, 2008

You can’t train a cat, like you can a dog. If you try to, you’ll probably cause behavioural problems later on. But you can teach it not to perform bad habits. But most times the owner will have to change to fit in with the cat.

Every one in your house, should agree with what you are going to allow the cat to do. Do not change the rules when you’ve decided them, as this can cause difficulties.

• If your cat trusts you, it will probably do what you want, so speak in a calm tone.
• Your cat can tell if you are anxious, so don’t worry if things go wrong. Keep calm and start again.
• Don’t force training on your cat, only attempt it when it seems happy to do so.
• Don’t move too quickly, or the cat might misunderstand.
• When teaching a kitten only do it for hour a day and only repeat a few times. As an annoyed kitten will not learn anything.
• If you are forbidding something, be consistent. Don’t change your mind, and stick to the same command.
• If you’ve caught your cat doing something bad, give it a quick squirt of water from a plant sprayer. This will soon curb the behaviour.
• Never hurt or shout at your cat, or it will associate you with the unpleasantness. Instead put some dry beans in a tin and shake it briefly if you cat is being bad.
• When the cat obeys, praise and stroke it.
• Treat your cat with food when it does well, it will learn to associate a good behaviour with food. But don’t over do it, it will soon so it without help.
• Do not ignore your cat when you are mad at it, cats do not understand this behaviour and will feel insecure.

Your cat will not know from the start that it has to use a scratch post to sharpen its claws. You need to teach it to do so.

If your cat beings to attack the furniture, clearly say ‘NO’. Then take the cat to the scratching post and put its paws on it. You can scratch with your own nails too, as the noise will make the cat curious.

If your cat refuses to use the scratch post, then it may not like the fabric that covers it. Try putting an old piece of clothing that smells like you over the board; put some hemp rope around the scratching tree, or put down some straw mats, cats often like these better.

Make sure where your cat sleeps is quiet and comfortable. Provide your cat with a covered basket, with a soft filling such as a blanket or towel. You cat can get away in here and feel safe, but still be able to see things going on.

Don’t let your cat beg, once it has formed this habit, you won’t be able to break it. Don’t give in to a meowing cat! Keep your cat away from the dining table!
• Don’t offer your cat food from the table.
• Don’t give treats outside of feeding time, just because it wants them.
• Don’t put your cat on your lap when eating dinner at the table.
• Set your cat certain feeding times.
• Feed your cat when you eat, so it will be occupied.
• If you cat jumps on your lap or the chair next door while you are eating say ‘NO’ and place it far from the table.

How to Make Money Through Online Casinos

Filed under: World Of Travel — admin at 9:29 pm on Saturday, August 16, 2008

The age of the internet has changed how money can be made. Instead of reporting for work to get a decent pay, some can still do it while working from the home.

Making money through gambling is the same. Instead of going down to the casino, this can also be done in the comforts of one’s home.

Online gambling can be played in various ways similar to those in the regular casino. Players can still place bets and win some money. The odds and payback percentages are the same as regular casinos with some sites offering higher than others.

To be able to play online, there are a few things that are needed.

1. First is a good internet connection. A game can last a long time and it would be awful to be interrupted especially if one is making a lot of money.

2. To those who really like to play, it is a good idea to set some time for it.

3. Some online sites are better than others. To know which site is good, the person can try it out for free.

4. To make sure that the person is playing in a reliable or trusted site, it is best to do some research first before throwing that money around.

There are two ways to play. The first one is web based. That means logging on to the site then playing the games. Games like this can be played in the browser plug-ins such as Macromedia Shockwave, Macromedia Flash or Java. Bandwidth is also needed to be able to get the sound, graphics and animations in the game.

The second is downloaded based online games. This will require the person to get the software to be able to play the games. Compared to the first, this type is faster since everything that the person needs comes is already in the computer and everything can happen without browser support.

The person should be aware that there is a risk whenever downloading something from an untrusted source. Malware or viruses may enter the system which could give the user problems.

New members who signup are given bonuses in the first deposit. These usually match a percentage with how much was deposited to a dollar minimum. Games that are currently offered online are blackjack, roulette, baccarat, poker, slot machines and Pai Gow Poker.

There has been reported to be a lot of fraudulent behavior on the part of online casinos. These establishments have refused to pay the winnings of people through cheating software. This is done in the hope that the player will continue to play and hopefully lose it. Such sites are called rogue casinos which is why it is important to first check the site out to avoid being victimized.

Currently, there is a bill in congress that might stop the proliferation of online gambling. This is because of allegations that it operates outside US law and is run by mobsters, drug dealers and terrorists who exploit on innocent people.

Online gambling is a 6 billion dollar industry that is regulated in more than 40 countries. Before deciding on playing the game, the person has to remember that there are risks involved.

Online gambling can be addictive. So it is best to be careful than losing everything including one’s home.
